It’s been 14 years since my mom died and equally long since I sat as a student of “The Journey,” a mere 6 months after losing her. It was painful but healing. The intervening years were fill with work and many other daily obligations as the healing continued. Retiring in 2018 gave me the opportunity to finally fulfill a long-time desire to become more involved in the ministry. Grief is always difficult and sometimes complicated and a long process. As it turns out, learning to live our best life is a life-long process. But to be able to travel that “journey with other sisters lightens the load. It is my privilege to walk with you on this path of discovery.
