Remembering My Safe Haven

The memories of a painful past are still painful as we recall the experience. But the fact that you survived those experiences means there was something that got you through. That “something” is as different as the person recalling the story.

The significance of this “voice of experience” is the unique set of survival tools that emerge. Kristin Mitchener is a blog writer whose talents emerged as a young girl and served as one of those tools. Hers is a voice that offers hope to those navigating the path to healing.

The Motherless Daughters Ministry (MDM) gives a voice to any motherless daughter who is willing to reach out to others in the community.  If you would like to submit a blog to the MDM you can find detailed instructions by clicking on the “Blog” tab on our website.
